The Principle Of Paper Cannon Sound

Locate a rectangular sheet of paper and fold it once, followed by folding it again, so that it is roughly divided into four equal sections.

To make a ringing sound, simply pull the corners and center of a sheet of paper slightly upward. Then, grip the untugged corners of the outer edges with your fingers and forcefully drop the paper. This will create a sharp ringing sound.

The shape depicted is that of a rectangular piece of paper, with an arrow head extending out in a triangular shape. This shape is used to create a unique sound in what is known as a paper cannon. The principle behind this is simple: when the paper is vibrated, the air around it also begins to vibrate, causing sound waves to be produced.

When the paper cannon is vigorously shaken, a sudden release of air will occur, resulting in a quick expansion of the paper and subsequent vibration of the surrounding air molecules. This vibration causes a loud noise as the air becomes the source of the sound.
